Blood Work Analysis
Ayesha will analyze either your previous lab results or order new ones to investigate the best ways to achieve optimal health and determine the root cause of any symptoms you may be experiencing. In our experience, there is always room for improvement, even in "normal" lab results.
During this consultation, Ayesha will evaluate your symptoms and analyze your blood work, which may include the following tests:
- Complete Blood Count (CBC) with differential (differential is necessary)
- WBC, RBC, Hgb, HCT, MCV, MCH, RDW, platelets, neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils
- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP-14)
- Glucose, BUN, creatinine, eGFR, sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, total protein, albumin, globulin, bilirubin, alkaline phosphatase, AST, ALT
- Thyroid Panel
- Free T3, Free T4, and TSH
- Hemoglobin A1C
- Fasting insulin
- Iron Panel
- Iron, TIBC, ferritin
- Vitamin D
- Uric Acid
- hs-CRP
- Homocysteine
- Red blood cell magnesium
- Lipid Analysis*
- Total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, VLDL, triglycerides
- GGT (gamma-glutamyl transferase) - an excellent marker for toxicity
